  After sitting here for 2 hours seeing everyone else come and go I finally was called to be helped and told they don't have time to get what I need done today because they close I'm 30 minutes. Seriously? This place is a joke and both ladies I spoke with was so unprofessional. The best part was having a conversation with the officer to pass time

  Biggest waste of time I swear. I have spoke. With probably 20 people and keep getting the run around on my son's birth certificate. Mailed a payment in months ago and here it is almost the middle of June and still haven't gotten my son's corrected birth certificate. I have recorded phone calls and screen shots of online chats and now all of a sudden they won't do chat on the tn.gov website. I did screen shots of everything and one woman actually called me back and said she just wanted to confirm my number and never heard anything else back. I continue to call and no answer now. I will be contacting an attorney and having this straightened out. I can't do anything that I need to for my son because of them. How in the hell a government building can function like this is beyond me. At one point a very old lady was talking to me and told me she will email them but that's all they can do and then she told me to just wait and she hung up on me.
